As part of freelance work for a local ice cream company, I created a homepage layout which is easily updated via Wordpress. Included is an initial concept, which was modified to better suit the company's need for updating with Instagram images.

The branding approach to have a grunge aesthetic makes the site navigation confusing and cumbersome.
In order to convert more sales, we created a new checkout process. Customers are now able to complete their purchases in fewer steps, with more confidence in their order's accuracy.
Focusing on accessibility, I created a new screen with clearer navigation, more breathing room, and an overall lessened cognitive load.
Creating a detailed style guide allowed me to pass my designs to the customer, meeting their needs of being able to build, and update their website themselves.
To convert traffic into sales more effectively, I created this checkout process for customers to confidently purchase ice cream on the site.
